New York Chinese Cultural Center's Lunar New Year Celebration

Ring in the Year of the Horse with celebrations at four city museums over two weekends: the Bronx Museum (1/25), the Queens Museum (1/26), the Met (2/8) and Snug Harbor Cultural Center (2/9, festival admission $10). Among each day's festivities are dance performances including the red rbbon dance, the traditional sword dance, a double fan dance and a lion dance procession, plus craft workshops where families try paper-cutting, calligraphy and dough figurine–making. All ages.
