Madeline's Tea

Just down from the Met and the Guggenheim is a classy spot for a proper three-tiered tea, held in a room adorned with fanciful murals painted by picture-book illustrator-author Ludwig Bemelmans. There, a kid can feel like the glamorous NYC tot she (or he) is, while digging into treats such as petite banana splits Fontainebleau. Reservations required. Ages 3 to 12.
