Family Art Project: Shield Me with a Turtle Shell

Young nature lovers will learn about turtles' iconic shells, then design and build a shell of their own using fabric and leather scraps. After stuffing their decorative turtle-shell backpacks, they'll strap them on and make a (very slow!) procession through the grounds. Note that admission is free till noon. All ages.
