Elmwood Day Camp

The six-acre campground boasts three swimming pools, a beach volleyball court, softball fields, playgrounds, a drama deck and an arts-and-crafts clubhouse. Annual events like a carnival, a camp Olympics and field trips to amusement parks, theaters and hiking grounds punctuate the program. Camp runs June 24–Aug 15 (closed July 4), Mon–Fri 9am–4pm. Eight-week session $7,800, four-week session $4,800. Transportation available to addresses in Manhattan north of 70th St. Ages 3 to 11.
