Spring into Norouz

Instead of coinciding with the dead of winter, Persian New Year falls at the beginning of spring. Kids can learn about the country's new year traditions through performances—one from a master drummer and the other from a traditional Kurdish music-and-dance troupe—a family-friendly short film and a mosaic-making workshop, among other offerings.
