Ladybug Release Party

Animal lovers are invited to learn about fauna we don't typically associate with the zoo: insects. An urban ecologist will teach kids what insects make their home in the zoo by having them collect and identify bugs from various zoo habitats. Participants will also learn how the zoo (and farmers) can use insects in, of all things, pest management by releasing some ladybugs in the rain forest building. Ages 7 to 10.
