"Approaching Abstraction"

All the works in this exhibition of abstract art come from the museum's permanent collection. Craft-minded kids and parents are bound to appreciate Button Tree, a sculpture that Gregory "Mr. Imagination" Warmack made by covering an uprooted tree's broken limb with buttons. Another highlight is a braided rug woven from plastic Wonder Bread bags.
