"Alcatraz: Life on the Rock"

The famous prison makes a cross-country visit: Nonclaustrophobic kids can look through a mock tunnel similar to the one dug by prisoners attempting to escape, and search for Civil War–era etchings in a re-created prison wall. Little jailbirds will also want to check out the authentic artifacts on display, including a blood-smeared baseball from the Alcatraz exercise yard and a butter knife–turned-weapon.
