Tarts Anon have been perfecting their tart game for years, so you know you're in very good (and flour-dusted) hands here. They’ve gone ahead and tarted up their Christmas range this year with flavours like trifle, cherry gingerbread and pavlova, but it's their famous eggnog and fruit mince tart that steals our hearts each festive season. An Italian Christmas isn't complete without a panettone. If you're looking for something special this year, you'll want to check out the Olivieri range, which the DOC Gastronomia crew has exclusively imported to its delicatessens for over a decade. Olivieri 1882 is an artisan bakery located in Arzignano (in the Veneto region of Italy), famous for churning out traditional Italian family recipes for over 140 years. This award-winning panettone is made from a natural sourdough starter, completely without preservatives. It's premium with a capital P – think 5 Crown sultanas, bourbon vanilla and artisan butter, and you can take your pick of the classic option, chocolate, gianduja, caramel or other flavours. The panettone range is available for purchase online or via pick-up from the Carlton and Mornington stores.
