Our LA River doesn’t get much love, but this event is a chance for you to help a neglected eyesore transform into the gem it could one day be—while exercising your body. Proceeds for this annual 5K Fun Run/Walk will benefit the LA Parks Foundation, who hope to restore and beautify the natural resource into a swimmable, boatable river bordered by a lush greenway. Kids can partake as well with a free 1K Fun Run and kids zone.
