Kudos to Olivia Rodrigo for curating what just might be the best music festival lineup of the entire year: An era-spanning array of legends and up-and-comers will assemble in Orange County for the women-fronted Daisy Chain Fields festival.
Rodrigo leads a Lilith Fair–like lineup that’ll play out over two stages at Irvine’s Great Park on August 29, including Chappell Roan, Doechii, Garbage, Not for Radio, Bikini Kill and more, with Karen O, Sarah McLachlan and Stevie Nicks promised as special guests. The music is unquestionably superb, but the logistics of it all might leave you asking a few questions—after all, this is a park usually equipped to handle about 10,000 people that’ll be expanding its capacity to accommodate up to 45,000 fans. (For reference, the now-defunct Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre on the southern edge of the park only held around 16,000 people.)
So before you pack the car and slather on some sunscreen—forecasts call for highs around 90 degrees—here’s everything you need to know about Daisy Chain Fields, including the set times, how to get there and whether or not you can watch from home.
Are tickets still available to Daisy Chain Fields?
No. Passes went on sale in late June starting at $250 and very quickly sold out; an early-July sale gave Verizon subscribers another opportunity while a volunteer drive raffled off a small number of tickets. There’s no official resale market for the fest, so if you do see wristbands up for sale, purchase at your own risk.
Net proceeds from ticket sales benefitted nonprofits advocating for women and girls, including Baby2Baby, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, the Center for Reproductive Rights, FreeFrom, Jhpiego, Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health, National Domestic Workers Alliance, National Institute for Reproductive Health, the National Women’s Law Center and Planned Parenthood.
Can I stream Daisy Chain Fields?
No, at least not officially. On the eve of the fest, organizers have yet to announce any sort of live stream. But this is a music festival in 2026: You can practically guarantee that more than a few attendees will broadcast major sets live on social media.
Where exactly is Daisy Chain Fields taking place?
It’s being staged at Great Park, a decommissioned military airport in Irvine that’s been converted into a more-than-500-acre park space (with considerably more still to come). The official festival address is 8000 Great Park Boulevard, Irvine, CA 92618. In practical terms, the fest is taking over the fields surrounding the park’s recognizable tethered helium balloon; the entrance and exit are just to the west, at soccer field 6, and the main stage appears to be taking over the four fields just to the east.
So how can I get to the festival? Is there parking? A shuttle? What about by train?
Grab a snack, because this part gets a little complicated. Yes, there’s on-site parking in a handful of lots on the grounds’ northwest side, as well as at Wild Rivers Waterpark—or rather there was, as these $100 passes are all sold out.
You can, however, still buy shuttle passes for a few park-and-ride spots in Orange County: in Anaheim, by the Honda Center at OCVIBE (2695 E Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92806), as well as at UC Irvine, including the UC Irvine Health and Science Parking Structure (5100 California Ave, Irvine, CA 92617), UC Irvine Lot 70 (4590 Health Sciences Rd, Irvine, CA 92617) and UC Irvine Mesa Parking Structure (4002 Mesa Rd, Irvine CA 92617). Shuttle passes are priced at $50 per person (not per vehicle), and organizers note that these will drop you off closer to the main entrance than other means and will be able to take advantage of routes otherwise closed to regular traffic.
There are also two rideshare drop-off and pickup locations, one at Lot P4 (8000-8200 Great Park Blvd, Irvine, CA 92618) that appears to be about a mile to the entrance, and another at Discovery Park (500 Technology Dr, Irvine, CA 92618), which would be more like a 1.5-mile walk—thankfully, complimentary shuttles will run between that one and the entrance. There’s also a no-waiting, no-lingering parent pickup and drop-off area (10000 Great Park Blvd Irvine, CA 92618) near the Wild Rivers lot.
And finally, there’s public transit. You’ll find two train stations with connections to the festival: Irvine is actually relatively close to the grounds, but there’s no easy walking path to the grounds so you’ll need to use rideshare services; Anaheim, meanwhile, will take advantage of the parking shuttles, which means you need to buy a $50 shuttle pass on top of your train ticket. Amtrak offers the most frequent service getting there, with trains roughly every hour from Union Station that’ll get you to Anaheim for $16 or Irvine for $19—but only one return train that you might need to duck out early to make. Metrolink’s service getting there is less frequent but cheaper: On weekends, you can get unlimited rides for the entire day for only $10. Plus, the agency will be operating an extra late-night, post-fest train on the lines to L.A., Oceanside and San Bernardino.
What are the set times and schedule?
The festival will take place across two stages: the smaller Marigold Stage to the west, and the main Dandelion Stage to the southeast. No set times will overlap. Olivia Rodrigo will take the Dandelion Stage at 8:40pm and perform until 10pm, but there are plenty of other worthwhile sets, so we’ve included the schedule as both a poster and text below; note that KATSEYE had to drop out last-minute (due to member Megan Skiendiel’s sprained ankle) and has been replaced by Devon Again.
