Gustavo Dudamel: Celebrating 17 Years

After 17 years helming the Los Angeles Philharmonic and raising the orchestra’s star power around the globe, Gustavo Dudamel is saying goodbye to the City of Angels (though in this case, it’s more of a see you later). While you can still catch him conducting at a handful of Hollywood Bowl shows this summer, this trio of performances mark his final ones at Walt Disney Concert Hall as LA Phil music and artistic director. He’ll be joined by members of Youth Orchestra Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Master Chorale for a poetic program that honors both his Venezuelan and American identities.
