Summer might start winding down in August, but the temperatures will still be going up through Labor Day weekend, which means our favorite alfresco events are still in session too. Buckle up for a month full of outdoor movies, concerts, theater and more—including dozens of free things to do. You’ll also find fun festivals, dance parties and exciting exhibitions at the city’s best museums. If you have kids in tow, get in some last-minute fun before they go back to school.
