The Diamond Jubilee Garden Party

A family day to celebrate the Queen's diamond jubilee, with sounds of the 1950s, demonstrations of 'austerity cookery' from the era, the chance to take part in the village fête sports day and enjoy vintage fairground rides. In the afternoon there's a tea party in the formal gardens; visitors are invited to bring bunting and a picnic to eat on the East Lawns, or arrive early to reserve a place at the giant trestle table.
