Well, this is the world’s largest, and it’s serving up an all-you-can-eat buffet of debates, music and comedy. If you’re missing your uni years – not the clubbing, but the classes – then HowTheLightGetsIn is for you. Promising two days of debate and discussion, this Hampstead Heath festival is the thinking man’s Reading Fest. Hear from physicist Roger Penrose, astrophysicist Priya Natarajan, cosmologist Neil Turok, broadcaster Louis Theroux, Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales, former First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon, former US National Security Adviser John Bolton, and more at over 300 debates, screenings, musical performances and comedy sets. For when you've done enough pondering Plato, Foucault and Sartre, comedy will be provided by Harriet Kemsley (Last One Laughing) and Fathiya Saleh, while tunes will be supplied by Patrick Wolf, The Turbans and Prima Queen.
