This grassroots community project in Newham has grown from a single market stall and queer night in a local pub to an organised community interest company designed to enrich the lives of local LGBTQ+ people in the east London borough. 2025 is the first year in new hands, after its founding duo stepped down.
The main event is big Pride party Gatecrashers at Forest Tavern, with burlesque acts and drag performers including Don One and Comrade May. There's an inclusive feel to this get-together, with under 18s welcome until 9.30pm, and free tickets for trans attendees in response to the recent Supreme Court ruling.
