Apple Day at Fulham Palace

Celebrate the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness at another edition of this wholesome harvest festival at Fulham Palace. Apple day invites Londoners into the orchard within the Palace’s walled garden for guided tours where they can learn about the Tudor dwelling’s unique heritage apple varieties, garden games including zorbing and archery, a harvest pumpkin display and ‘meet and greets’ with the Palace’s resident chickens. Kids can get stuck into a whole bunch of crafty activities including apple printing, badge making and a scavenger trail, while star bakers can enter their apple-y creations into a junior and adult heats of the longstanding Apple Day baking competition. There’s also a tombola, a harvest-themed market and plenty of apple juice and cider to try. Your old school Harvest assemblies have definitely got a glow-up.
