You can hardly walk down the street in London these days without finding yourself inside some sort of immersive experience or other, with numerous warehouse-style spaces opening up across the city to host itinerent, tech-enhanced exhibotions with varying degrees of actual immersion. 7 Wonders of the World: An Immersive Experience uses ‘interactive elements, replicas of artifacts, and unique features’ to conjure up both the seven wonders of the ancient world and the seven of the modern one, with its centrepiece a giant size immersive film that will take you on a journey through what is in fact 14 wonders. There will also be additional kids activities – make your own wonder! – cementing the fact that this definitely pitched as a ‘fun’ experience rather than a hardcore learning sesh.
