The most successful play by Lawrence of Arabia and Doctor Zhivago screenwriter Robert Bolt, it’s a bio-drama concerning Sir Thomas More, the polymath Lord Chancellor to Henry VIII who refused to support his king’s first divorce, and whi paid the ultimate price for it.
