St George's Leisure Centre

Stretching to 33.25m, St George’s is slightly larger than your average London pool. Home to Islington Underwater Hockey Club and one time training ground to the Russian Federation Synchronised Swimming Team, you'll find more water based activities here than just lane swimming. ‘Swim Fit’ class and lessons are available here. With a clement pool temperature of 27-28 degrees it’s a splendid place to dive in and thrash out some lengths. Although the exterior is a bit shabby, and caters mainly for local residents, the pool itself is excellent.
