The designer collection here reads more like a fantasy wardrobe than a selection of rugs, with collaborations from Vivienne Westwood, Diane von Furstenberg, Paul Smith and Matthew Williamson among others. Founded in 1997 by Christopher and Suzanne Sharp, the Rug Company is dedicated to traditional methods of rug-making; the hand-knotting is done by weavers in Kathmandu, using hand-spun wool from Tibet and northern India. It also sells antique rugs, sourced from around the globe. Bespoke commissions are undertaken.
