Geoffrey Drayton

Geoffrey Drayton has been pioneering modern furniture, lighting and homewares in London for almost five decades. The shop’s success (it has recently expanded into the shop next door) is partly down to the knowledgeable staff and partly to a terrific range of high-end, made-to-order classic furniture from the world’s best brands and designers. B&B Italia, Cassina, Interlübke, Kartell, Knoll, Vitra and Ycami are all stocked, along with smaller makers like E15 and Rexite. Classics stocked include Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s Barcelona chair and Harry Bertoia’s Diamond chair (both manufactured by Knoll), and there’s a good range of beds and stylish storage furniture. Limited editions crop up regularly.
