He also ‘doesn’t do small’‚ so it’s just as well he has a large, attractive space to house his expansive collection of furniture and objects. He specialises in Scandinavian, French and English pieces from the Georgian era to the 1950s. Typical items include 18th-century rustic farmhouse tables alongside bold pieces of sculpture and early industrial furniture, lockers and cupboards. You’ll also find pairs of 1930s leather armchairs for around £2,200 and good-quality chaises longues. Bloch shares the space with Andrew Angell, who specialises in old shop fittings, vintage advertising signs and tins.
