Catering predominantly for nearby, stressed-out central London workers, this diminutive massage centre's focus isn't on glamorous surrounding, but intense and effective treatment. That's not to say efforts haven't been made to provide a pleasant atmosphere – founder Anna Krawczyk has created as peaceful oasis as possible given that the space is somewhat dingily located under a hairdressing salon – but the focus is squarely on alleviating what ails you. Certainly our deep tissue massage (just £50 for a generous 60 minutes) took care of multiple knots and festering muscle tension. A fact not surprising when we learnt that our therapist trained as a physiotherapist – a trait she shares with almost all fellow staff members. Open an astonishing seven days a week, 9am-9pm, and with a policy of accepting clients at short notice (that's from 30 minutes), this is a gem of a destination on grueling work days.
