Perhaps the best-kept secret of London’s karaoke scene, the independent Stokey Karaoke is a wonderful little basement on Stamford Hill and a low-key local landmark. Bookings here are by the hour and you get the whole place to yourself, with room for up to 60 singers. Props and fancy dress add to the chaotic energy, making this spot one of the best places to host a birthday party in all of London. This subterranean space used to be home to The Cotton Club, and is still run by members of the same family.
