The inaugural SXSW London was a roaring success. Back in June the Austin, Texas festival took over Shoreditch for a week of star-studded events, with over 20,000 turning out to see huge names like Idris Elba, Katherine Ryan, Tems and Erykah Badu in talks, panels, music concerts and film screenings.
SXSW will make a grand return to the capital in 2026 – and better yet, for the second year in a row Time Out will be an official media partner for the festival.

The return of SXSW London was officially confirmed in September. The event will take place once again in Shoreditch on June 1-6 2026, and submissions are now open to take part. Conference tracks will range from the impact of AI and ‘next-gen tools’ to how technology and policy will have shaped London by 2050.
Passes are now on sale, with all-access platinum passes costing £1,300 and a festival pass priced at £1,000. Music and screen strand passes will go on sale on Monday October 27.
