If you ask us, no one does Detroit-style pizza in London quite like Ria’s. The Notting Hill joint has been a firm favourite in Time Out’s best pizza list since it opened back in 2023, serving up ‘flawlessly refined’ Motor City style pies.
Never quite made it all the way out to Ria’s west London home? Soon it’ll be even easier to get your gnashers around their Detroiter pies and natural wines. Ria’s has announced the opening of a second site in Soho, which will arrive in November.
Ria’s Soho will offer much of the same deep-pan, square-cut goodness of the original edition, this time with an exclusive slice and an ‘intimate’ downstairs wine cave. It’ll have the same 72-hour fermented dough, curated list of natty wines and chic interiors.
Co-founder Ria Morgan-Ratcliffe said about the new opening: ‘We’ve taken everything we’ve learned, refined it, and built something that feels like a confident evolution of the brand.
‘Expect the same signature style, energy, and experience – just a bit more polish. We’ve grown, learned, and fine-tuned, and this new site reflects that evolution.’
Time Out’s rave review of Ria’s Notting Hill described the slices as ‘delicate and scrupulous, each bite meticulously measured to sink just the right amount, to crunch at exactly the right depth’. Ria’s Soho opens on November 1.
Ria’s, 29 Fouberts Place, W1F 7QF.
