Consider yourself a quarter pounder connoisseur? Are you a self-professed cheeseburger cognoscente? Then chances are you’ve heard of Manna. Nestled within the bustling Arcade Food Hall on the ground floor of London’s Centre Point building, this spot has been cooking up hot smash, double patty and vegan versions of the classic meat-between-buns concept since 2022.
And it’s earned a rep as a master of sloppy smash patties, claiming a place on Time Out’s list of London’s best burgers in 2026. Not bad for a humble food court stall, huh?
Now, Manna is moving up in the world, because the burger joint has just announced its first standalone restaurant in the Big Smoke.
Opening at 54 James Street, the new Marylebone outpost will serve up Manna's full menu of burgers including the Double Manna and the Classic Smash, and signature sides including waffle fries. Plus, we can expect two new exclusive items to feature on the Marylebone menu. The first is a Manna-shaped twist on a classic English trifle with layers of strawberry milk-soaked sponge, fruit jelly, custard, whipped cream, sprinkles and a cherry on top. Next up? A classic American cola float, which will come in three flavours: vanilla, chocolate and cherry.
As for the decor, think 80s and 90s diner-style digs with space for alfresco seating out front. The new eatery will cater exclusively to walk-ins, so you might have to be speedy if you’re planning to nab a seat.
The new standalone site opens on Friday September 4. It’ll join Arcade Food Hall’s three London locations in Tottenham Court Road, Covent Garden and Battersea Power Station, all of which serve up Manna’s famed meats, as well as another standalone site in Dubai which opened last year.
