Bit by bit, central London is being Christmassified. It started with the festive lights being turned on at Leicester Square, then Regent Street’s ‘Spirit of Christmas’ illuminations were brought to life. Next week, the sparkling lights on Oxford Street will be switched on, and a few days later it’ll be Bond Street’s turn.
Bond Street boasts the most regal of London’s festive displays. Once again, it’ll be decked out in 90,000 LED lights arranged to look like glistening tiaras, pearl necklaces, golden filigree and the Imperial State Crown. This year is your last chance to lay eyes on the Crown Jewels-inspired display, as a totally new design will be unveiled in 2027.
Alongside all that, the luxury stores that line the street will also show off their displays for Christmas 2026. Here’s everything you need to know if you want to watch the Bond Street Christmas light switch-on.
