[title]
Looks like London’s chefs want to start feeding you up for winter, as this is a real bumper month for new openings. We’re super duper excited about B Penhale, the latest opening from the team behind Camille - which is one of just many new pubs and restaurants to be lured by the charms of Clerkenwell and Farringdon. See also The Poet and Pam, as well as the recently launched fish-focussed gastropub, The Horses. If you’re looking for something extremely fancy, then book yourself into Lunette sharpish, or if it’s excellent pizza you want, then the new branch of Theo’s in Peckham is calling.
The best new London restaurants opening in November 2026
1. The new one from the best restaurant in London
1. B Penhale, Clerkenwell
We’ll say it: Clerkenwell is (once again) the best place in London to eat, and it’s about to get even more delicious. B Penhale is the new opening from the same team behind Borough Market’s Camille (our favourite London restaurant of 2026), and promises high-end British and Irish cuisine. Camille’s exec chef Elliot Hashtroudi will act as chef patron at Penhale, bringing his whole-carcass energy to the menu.
Opens: November 16
Address: 57 West Smithfield, Clerkenwell, EC1A 9DS
2. The one at the fancy hotel
Lunette, Temple
Superstar chef Florence Knight has been fairly quiet since leaving Sessions Arts Club but her razzle-dazzle relaunch sees her pulling rank by opening up the new rooftop restaurant at swanky St Clement hotel by the river. Expect excellent views and a refined, Michelin-courting menu.
Opens: November 3
Address: Level 11, 180 The Thames, Temple, WC2R 3DA
3. The Georgian spot in Soho
Aba-Ra, Soho
Already a favourite on Brick Lane, Aba-Ra’s cosy brand of Georgian comfort cuisine is coming to Soho. They’re promising a more modern version of classic dishes such as khinkali dumplings and cheese-filled khachapuri bread, as well as a serious wine list.
Opens: November
Address: 134-136 Wardour Street, Soho, W1F 8ZP
4. The martini wonderland
Berryman’s, Dalston
The award-winning sibling duo behind Three Sheets in Dalston – which also boasts a second location in Soho – are opening a ‘martini, wine and oyster bar’ a stone’s throw from their original east London spot. The bar takes its name from Max and Noel Venning’s mother’s maiden name, with a seafood-heavy food menu paying homage to her Cornish roots.
Opens: November 13
Address: 508 Kingsland Road, Dalston, E8 4AE
5. The neighbourhood pizza parlour
Theo’s, Peckham
Fans of Theo’s love its first two restaurants (in Elephant & Castle and Camberwell) for their authentically blackened, puffy-crusted pizzas laden with abundant fresh toppings. Now, there's a new joint opening up in Peckham.
Opens: November 6
Address: 285 Rye Lane, Peckham, SE15 4UA
6. Syrian classics come to east London
Imad’s Syrian Kitchen, Shoreditch
Cooking up the dishes of Damascus, Syrian chef Imad Alarnab opens the second Imad’s Syrian Kitchen in Shoreditch, following his much-loved Soho spot (and not forgetting all-day Middle Eastern cafe Aram at Somerset House). There’ll be brand new dishes on the menu here, including braised beef shank with spiced butter bean stew, capers and sumac grilled octopus and ma'amoul apple crumble with caramelised banana.
Opens: November 30
Address: Blossom Street, Shoreditch, E1 6PL
7. Crump ‘n grind
Jones’ Crumpet Café, Notting Hill
Admittedly, a crumpet café sounds insane - but when you’ve nibbled on one of Ian Endfield’s spongy discs of joy, you’ll get it. The menu includes a breakfast option, two savoury choices and a sweet dish. Jones’ has also developed signature flavours to spice up the crumpet game: alongside a classic crumpet, there’s a double cheese option made of strong cheddar and melty parmesan, as well as cheese and chive, and dark chocolate crumps.
Opens: November 12
Address: 44 Golborne Road, W10 5PR
8. Thai fire
Pam, Clerkenwell
Former Kiln head chef Karla Knowles is heading up this new Thai restaurant which brings the spirit and spice of Kiln and Euro technique to the streets facing the lavish Smithfield redevelopment. Expect punchy dishes cooked over fire, including roast duck with frites and curry sauce as well as miang kham snacks of assorted British produce wrapped in betel leaves.
Opens: November 3
Address: 61 Charterhouse Street, EC1M 6HA
9. Brilliant bakes
Dusty Knuckle, Finsbury Park
North-east London staple the Dusty Knuckle is set to bring its splendid sarnies and beautiful bakes to Finsbury Park. One of Time Out’s favourite bakeries – and our bakery of the year 2025 – will open its third location on one of London’s coolest streets, Blackstock Road.
Opens: November 5
Address: 81 Blackstock Road, Finsbury Park, N4 2JW
10. Another swanky gastropub
The Poet, Smithfield
The team behind Sune – a Broadway Market bistro we once branded ‘practically perfect’ – is opening a pub and restaurant by the Smithfield Market redevelopment and new London Museum site. There will be separate pub and restaurant areas, with food available in both. Expect elevated pub grub like prawn Scotch eggs coated with scampi fries, smoked eel caesar salad and a fallow deer and juniper suet pudding.
Opens: November 30
Address: House 5, London Museum, General Market, Farringdon Street, EC4A 4AZ
11. Big Mamma’s latest lavish restaurant
Edmondo, City of London
Fans of 10-layer lasagna and metre-long spaghettone, you’re in luck. OTT Italian-inspired restaurant group Big Mamma are following Circolo Popolare in Fitzrovia, Jacuzzi in Kensington and Gloria in Shoreditch with Edmondo in Bank. Their new osteria will bring ‘unapologetic 1930s Milanese glamour’ to a Grade II-listed site, where they’ve compared the decor to the lavish furnishings of Villa Necchi Campiglio, one of Milan’s most iconic tourist spots.
Opens: November 6
Address: 6 Lombard Street, EC3V 9LJ
12. Another Bar Douro!
Bar Douro, Soho
This new Soho site for Portuguese bar and restaurant Bar Douro joins their London Bridge and City spots, taking over the space formerly occupied by the much-missed 10 Greek Street restaurant. Come for sausage-stuffed croquetes de alheira, creamy, eggy and fishy bacalhau à brás and gambas à guilho garlic prawns as well as an all-Portuguese wine list.

Opens: November
Address: 57 Nunhead Lane, Nunhead, SE15 3TR
14. Chops in a crypt
Elezar, Mayfair
The somewhat cursed Undercroft space in the crypt of St George’s Church, which was supposed to be the site of Brad Carter’s first solo London restaurant, is having another bash at hospitality greatness by launching a new Eastern European chophouse. Elezar’s menu is in the hands of head chef Erik Miotto (formerly of Cycene and Akoko) and will focus on big cuts of meat and open sandwiches on rye bread, topped with herring, pork cheek, anchovy and caviar.
Opens: November 2
Address: 49 St George Street, Mayfair, W1S 2FH
15. Big, beautiful burgers
Heard, Covent Garden
One of Time Out’s favourite burger restaurants in London is opening its third – and largest – site in the capital. It’ll take over a space once used by Byron and as well as Heard’s regular menu and collabs, will be home to what they’re calling ‘a dessert and cocktail speakeasy’. Which basically means a basement where you can get hot apple pie, brûlée cheesecake and the softest serves known to man.
Opens: November 5
Address: 33–35 Wellington Street, Covent Garden, WC2E 7BN
