Do you remember the last Women’s Euro final in 2022? How could you forget Jill Scott’s viral ‘F**k off, you f**king prick’ retaliation, the rogue tactical note passed around the pitch and Chloe Kelly’s sport’s bra-bearing celebration as she scored the goal that led England’s Lionesses to win 2-1 during extra time against the formidable German team? Not to mention, the match made history after a record-breaking 87,192 fans turned out to watch them in action.

Can the Lionesses repeat their success again? Well, we’ll get to find out soon, because the Women’s Euro 2025 is here. Kicking off on Wednesday July 2, there’ll be just over three whole weeks of women’s footie to occupy ourselves with over the month: the group stages will take place up until Sunday July 13, the quarter finals will run from Wednesday July 16 to Saturday July 18, and the semi-finals and final will take place on Tuesday July 22, Wednesday July 23 and Sunday July 27, respectively.

After winning the Women’s World Cup in 2023, Spain are the favourites to take home the trophy, but England and France are predicted to be their toughest competitors. It’s also a great year for Welsh women’s football, as the Wales women’s team will be making history on Saturday July 5 with their first appearance in a major tournament against the Netherlands.

The matches, including England’s first match against France on Saturday July 5, are taking place in stadiums across Switzerland this year. But, if you haven’t got your flights booked, there are plenty of spots hosting screenings, fan zones and parties across the city. Here are our favourite places to catch all the action and cheer on the Lionesses and our Welsh sisters. Will it be coming home again? Keep your fingers crossed!

Baller FC x Signature Brew Screenings

Women’s football fan collective Baller FC has teamed up with craft beer heroes Signature Brew to bring the Women’s Euro to the big screen. Every single England and Wales game will air at the brewery’s Haggerston taproom, as well as a curated pick of group stage clashes and all the knockout stages. This is not just a bunch of screenings, though. This is an all-out month-long footie fiesta. Besides the games themselves, there’ll be DJs, street skills challenges, foosball contests, karaoke, art takeovers, barber cuts, temp tatts, WoSo-inspired makeovers and the return of Baller’s ‘guess the player by the ponytail’ quiz. No Euro watch party is quite as fun-filled as this one.

Studs Women's Euro 2025 Pride Night

Women’s football fans, this one’s for you. Kick off Women's Euro 2025 season with a special pride sesh at The Divine, run by Studs. Katie Baxter and DJ Melons will supply the tunes (apparently Freed from Desire is going to be played at least twice) and there’ll be all the footie chat you could dream of in the smoking area.

Pop Brixton

Watching the Women's Euro 2025 doesn’t have to mean missing out on precious Vitamin D: Pop Brixton’s light and bright Greenhouse space will keep things summery as you keep up with the action. It’ll be showing pretty much all the games, so whichever country you’re cheering on, grab a bench near the big screen, and soak up some women's football goodness.
Pop Brixton, SW9 8PQ. Throughout the tournament. Free to £5.

Old Nun’s Head

South Londoners: this year, progressive music platform foundation.fm is teaming up with iets frans to host a series of Women’s Euro 2025 screenings at Old Nun’s Head. This offbeat, queer-friendly pub is a laidback and fun place to cheer on the Lionesses. Peckish? You can also get delicious pizzas from resident carb queens Dough Hands.

The Prince

The Prince is packed with screens, so wherever you’re stationed indoors or outdoors at the enormous west London pub, you’ll be able to watch every single tackle, corner and goal of the Women’s Euro in HD. If you pick up a ‘Lioness loyalty card’ and attend at least four games, you’ll also bag a free ticket to the final screening (worth £15), plus a complimentary pint of Bud (or booze-free alternative).

TOCA Social Screenings

TOCA Social will be welcoming Lioness fans into both of its London locations (the O2 and Westfield White City) as England sets out to defend its Women’s Euro title. If you need to release some nervous energy pre-match, there’ll be free 30-minute ‘immersive football’ sessions ahead of each kick-off. And if you prefer relieving stress with a sweet treat, there’s the Leah Williamson Sundae – a chocolate and vanilla ice cream concoction based on what is apparently the captain’s dessert of choice.
TOCA Social, SE10 0DX and W12 7GF. Throughout the tournament. From £6.

The 411

All of the Lioness’s games will be blaring from screens and projectors at the 411 in Angel. It’s just down the road from the Emirates stadium, which happens to boast the highest number of women’s football game attendees in the Women’s Super League, so there’s good reason to expect a decent crowd. If you turn up for at least four games here (or at The Prince in Fulham), you’ll secure a free ticket to the final screening and a pint of Bud (or booze-free alternative) on the house. You’ve just got to hope that Europe’s reigning champions make it that far.
