Sara Mitra 6tet + Kaz Simmons

Emerging folk jazz vocalist Mitra expands the simple singer songwriter template with band featuring some of London's leading young jazz stars – including sax demon James Allsopp, trumpeter Fulvio Sigurta and drummer Tim Giles –to add soft layers of brass and harmonic texture to her evocative songs. Fine young jazz singer/songwriter Simmons performs her quirky originals that fuse Spanish and Brazilian classical guitar styles in support.
