Ed Askew

Acid-drenched freak jams from the great master of outsider folk. His 1968 record 'Ask the Unicorn' is a powerful, emotive testament to Askew's beautiful songwriting and wailing vocals, all laced with his jangling 10-string Martin Triple. But its follow-up, 'Little Eyes', sat in the vaults until 1999. Now he's firmly back in the psych-public eye, with a new record out on Tin Angel Records.
