Benet McLean Quartet

Staggeringly good funk, fusion and contemporary jazz pianist/singer who's worked with Dennis Rollins's Badbone & Co and Roachford, here plays tunes from his album 'In the Land of the Ooh-Blah-Dee'. Very much a contemporary of Brooklyn-based pianist Robert Glasper, McLean mixes slick R&B vocals, edgy jazz harmonies and fractured hip hop grooves with ease.
