Alex Mathias/Dean Mongerio Quintet

Irish-born Berklee-trained saxophonist Mathias is a fast rising star sideman/bandleader – working with the likes of Mary Coughlin and Christine Tobin – and here leads his own band alongside NYC saxophonist/producer Mongerio. The fine band also includes keyboardist Joe Thomas and six-string bass demon Kevin Glasgow on fast-paced modern jazz originals.
