Players' Theatre Club 75th Anniversary Extravaganza

Founded in 1936, the Players' Theatre Club has long been dedicated to revisiting the songs and atmosphere of Victorian music hall, mixing living social history with a good old singalong. Its active members today range in age from 14 to 70-plus and this celebration of the Club's 75th anniversary promises a trip back to the form's 1890s heyday, the age of Marie Lloyd, magic, comedy, music and a dash of sauce. The starry line-up provisionally includes Jan Hunt, Julia Sutton, Sheila Matthews, Ben Stock, Ellie Bamber and the Magic Circle's Michael Pearce – and one June Whitfield.
