The George (CLOSED)

On the corner of Liverpool Street and Bishopsgate, the George is a quintessentially British pub. It's part of the stylish Andaz hotel but, retaining the original architecture of oak-panelled walls and crafted Victorian ceiling, the pub serves up hand-pulled pints and classic comfort food in the vein of Shepherd's pie, bangers and mash, and fish and chips to city slickers.
