Back in 1919, this Baixa shop was a rope-maker. In 2006 the space was revamped as a traditional Portuguese grocery store. Just a few metres from the medieval Casa dos Bicos, it has kept the old stone walls as the setting to showcase for traditional products from around Portugal, including the Azores and Madeira. These include organic bread, jams, liqueurs, pâtés, wines, sausages and many other specialities, so you can take a taste of Portugal home with you.
