Arty types, scruffy teachers (the British Council is nearby) and geeky students mingle at this popular meeting spot, where the sangria and cocktails flow freely. There's seating inside but, if you can, sit outside to take advantage of the great people-watching opportunities: this small park is both a social centre for the local oldies and the heart of Lisbon's gay district. The place stays open later than advertised on busy nights.
