Most rooftop bars in Las Vegas stare out at the neon-lit Strip. The exception is Circa’s glitzy Legacy Club. This lounge high atop downtown’s tallest building overlooks the old-timey Fremont Street district and provides faraway valley views and a twinkle of the Strip in the distance.
The adults-only casino-resort (all guests must be over 21 years old and present ID to enter) is known for its grand theater. Circa has tiered seating at the “world’s largest sportsbook,” the Stadium Swim pool complex, which doubles as a sports viewing venue, and resort owner Derek Stevens even named his parking complex, calling it Garage Mahal. But Legacy Club is the resort’s crown jewel.
The experience starts on the ground floor with the cheeky “No Ifs, Ands, Or Butts” Crazy Girls bronze statue welcoming guests at the elevator bank. Exiting upstairs, eleven metal busts of prominent casino executives give way to a display of 500 custom gold bars totaling 1,000 ounces of gold with a ticker flaunting the current value.
Once inside, the swanky lounge is a sophisticated scene of cozy rooms where well-dressed couples come to sip martinis and refreshing cocktails while waiting to watch the sunset from the terrace. It’s the perfect spot to sip a specialty cocktail and take in the view or to catch the Friday Fireworks (now through September 26).
The vibe: An elevated, polished spot where couples and singles mingle on a terrace under the stars.
The drink: Guests toast sunsets with champagne, nurse refreshing signature cocktails and navigate the list of rare bourbons and whiskeys.
Time Out tip: From full moon socials to white parties and holiday gatherings, Legacy Club is always hosting special events.
