Concerts and music festivals to go to in Hong Kong and Macau

Underground DJ sensation JYOTY is making her Hong Kong debut with her 2025 Asia tour. If you’re into electronic music or club culture, or have been to Boiler Room sets, then you’ll probably already be familiar with the Amsterdam-born artist’s signature blend of sound, atmosphere, and storytelling. Get ready to be soaked with sweat as she tears up the dancefloor with Arthur Yeti and 0159 in Soho House on August 2. Ticket prices start from $288.

South Korean singer-songwriter and actress Bibi has just kick started her first-ever world tour ‘Eve’ – starting with Seoul, she is taking the stage across the US and Canada before making her way back to several Asian cities including Hong Kong. Since her debut in 2019, Bibi has established herself as a strong contender in the Korean hip-hop scene, with a genre-bending sound that blends R&B, indie rock, and funk-pop influences. 

She has just released her second studio album Eve: Romance in May, so expect to hear bangers like Hongdae R&B, Bluebird, and more performed live. Bibi will take the stage at the AsiaWorld-Expo on Sunday, August 3, with tickets running from $699 to $1,799. The VIP packages will include a special laminate and lanyard, an autographed postcard, early access to merch, access to the pre-show soundcheck party, and a group photo with Bibi herself for VVIPs.

Multi-platinum artist Elijah Woods released his new single Could You Love Me? earlier in February, and will return to our shores after his sold-out Asia tour last year. NCT subunit boy group NCT Dream is coming back to town after their Hong Kong concert last summer. After kicking off their ‘The Dream Show 4: Dream The Future’ tour in Seoul, the seven-piece band will move on to Bangkok before coming to us, then performing in Jakarta, Singapore, Taipei, and Kuala Lumpur until the end of this year. This also marks the first time that a K-pop act will hold a show in the Kai Tak Stadium, so mark your calendars for August 30!

Tickets run from $799 to $2,499, with VIP concert-goers receiving a laminate and lanyard, an exclusive gift, a special merchandise lane, as well as access to the soundcheck party and a dedicated seating zone.

Super Junior is celebrating their 20th anniversary (!!) this year, and they’re bringing their world tour ‘Super Show 10’ to both Hong Kong and Macau. The second-generation group will also release their 12th studio album Super Junior 25 on July 12, which is their first album in about three years. This gives fans plenty of time to get familiarised with their new songs, as the nine active members will take the stage at AsiaWorld-Arena on September 5 and 6, and then at Galaxy Arena in Macau early next year on January 10 and 11, 2026.

The iconic soft rock group will be stopping by Macau as part of their 50th anniversary world tour, so mark your calendars for September 6. The last time they played in our vicinity was back in 2015 for their 40th anniversary, so it’s been a good long while.

Expect to be serenaded by Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock at Broadway Macau as they perform a selection of their instantly recognisable 80s hits. Tickets run from $598 to $1,498, and we have a feeling they’ll sell out, so get clicking while they’re still available!

Rising Filipino pop band SB19 is embarking on their first world tour, and Hong Kong is on their list. For those who don’t know them, this quintet is the first Filipino act to receive a Billboard Music Award nomination back in 2021, and they’ve also reached top slot in the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Charts with this year’s hit Dam. Catch Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin at the MacPherson Stadium on September 13 and 14. Tickets run from $599 to $799, and VIP concert-goers will receive a VIP-exclusive photocard, a laminate and lanyard, as well as access to the hi-bye event after the show.

To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the legendary Carmen from French composer George Bizet, one of the world’s best-known operas, The Peninsula Hong Kong is presenting a brand-new adaptation of this 1875 opera – but the catch is that it’s set in a Hong Kong bar in the 60s and 70s instead of 1800s Seville. And where else should Les Amours de Carmen Wong be held but within The Peninsula Hong Kong’s beautiful fine dining spaces?

To make the evenings even more special, each performance will be accompanied by culinary offerings specially created for the occasion. Head to Gaddi’s on July 21 or Felix on September 20 to enjoy the contemporary opera performance as well as special one-off menus. The extremely limited Les Amours de Carmen Wong opera and dinner experience is priced at $4,800 per person, and is available by reservation only. 

Mark your calendars for October 4 and 5, as Waterbomb will be taking over the Central Harbourfront. The 2025 lineup has yet to be confirmed, but last year saw major Korean artists like Rain, Jay Park, Loco, Gray, Jessi, StayC, PH-1, and more perform on our stage, so this edition is bound to be pretty stellar as well. The dynamic Thai sensation Jeff Satur once again returns to Hong Kong, this time on his Red Giant tour where he will perform at the MacPherson Stadium stage for one night on October 9. Known for his cinematic stage presence, Satur will be treating fans to a blend of synth-pop, alt-rock, R&B, and ballads. After selling out his Bangkok show immediately, the singer-songwriter and actor is currently kicking off the global leg of his tour in Latin America, performing in festivals, and working on a new drama series – talk about keeping busy.

Tickets start from $799, with VIP packages available as add-ons, which will grant access to the pre-show soundcheck, hi-touch and send-off sessions, autographed posters, and even a one-on-one professionally taken photo with Satur for the highest ticket tiers. The Live Nation pre-sale starts at 10am on July 17, and general sales will open at 12 noon on July 18.

Popular vocaloid Japanese singer Yama is taking to the Hong Kong stage once again, this time with their one-night-only Asia tour performance. Fans can look forward to hearing tracks from their new album, as well as some long-time favourites such as Haru wo Tsugeru, Shikisai, and Slash. If you missed seeing this enigmatic genderfluid artist performing at Clockenflap last year, then make sure not to miss their show on October 22 at the MacPherson Stadium. Tickets run from $699 to $1,599, with VIP ticketholders getting a limited VIP postcard autographed by Yama, priority entry, an exclusive laminate and lanyard, as well as a post-show meet and greet with a group photo session.

Globally popular Korean girl group Blackpink has announced the highly anticipated Asia leg of their Deadline world tour, and Hong Kong’s on their schedule! The last time Blackpink was in town was during their Born Pink world tour, when they played three concerts at the AsiaWorld-Expo in early 2023.

That was the highest-grossing tour by a girl group, and with the release of several successful solo projects from Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa since then, we can only expect even more people to want to see them perform live now. Since Hong Kong is the final stop on their Deadline tour, we’re also keeping our fingers crossed they end things with a bang and jazz things up for our shows.
