This November, WestK Performing Arts’ annual flagship music event returns for its biggest instalment yet. Offering festivalgoers 10 days of unforgettable music and cultural experiences, the festival spans two weekends from November 13 to 15, 17 to 22 and 24. This year’s stellar programme gathers over 100 leading global musicians and creative talents in town for an incredible mix of ticketed and free performances.
A major highlight of the festival is the long-awaited return of legendary Grammy Award-winning American saxophonist Kenny G. Making his Cathay • WestK Jazz Fest debut and returning to the Hong Kong stage for the first time in 18 years, this highly anticipated performance is co-presented by the Montreux Jazz Festival China, marking WestK’s first-ever collaboration with a global jazz festival and designed to give audiences a truly unparalleled live music experience.
Other highlights to look out for include Canadian jazz singer and pianist Diana Krall kicking off the festivities, followed by a mesmerising set from acclaimed American vocalist Stacey Kent. Prepare for high-energy vibes as new-generation superstar American guitarist Cory Wong joins forces with Hong Kong’s two-time world harmonica champion Cy Leo. Plus, local guitarist and composer Teriver Cheung will team up with pop singer-songwriter JACE for an exciting, cross-genre musical dialogue.
This year’s Jazz Fest transforms the M+ Green Lawn into a music healing zone. Attendees can find peace and unwind by Victoria Harbour through immersive music and meditation areas.
