Time Out says

Constructed in 1914, the Reid Murdoch Building was designed by George C. Nimmons for Reid, Murdoch & Co. one of the country’s largest wholesale grocers. At the time, the building was used for corporate offices, manufacturing and warehouse space—the building even included a humidor where tobacco was rolled for cigars. The building now houses commercial tenants and serves as the Encyclopedia Britannica headquarters.
