Everything you need to know about presales, onsales and scoring seats for BTS’s Soldier Field shows.

If you thought your group chat was loud before, just wait until BTS hits Soldier Field. The K-pop superstars have officially announced their 2026–27 world tour and Chicago scored two huge stadium nights—August 27 and 28—as part of what’s sure to be one of the biggest global tours in music history.
This is BTS’s first full-group tour since wrapping their military service hiatus and they’re not easing back in. The run spans 79 shows across more than 30 cities worldwide, with a 360-degree, in-the-round stage design that will put fans on all sides of the action.
For Chicago fans, the pressure is real. Soldier Field hasn’t hosted BTS since 2019 and demand for these shows is sure to be next-level, even by BTS standards. If you want to be there when RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook take over the lakefront, here’s what you need to know before tickets drop.
Your best shot at seats comes through the official presales. BTS is offering an ARMY Membership presale via the Weverse app, giving verified members early access before the general public. To qualify, fans must register for the presale on Weverse and make sure their membership email matches their Ticketmaster account—a tiny detail that will make a huge difference when the queue opens.
The ARMY Membership presale for the Chicago dates starts on Thursday, January 22, starting at 11 am local time. If you miss that window (or don’t have a membership), general ticket sales begin Saturday, January 24, also at 11 am local time, via Ticketmaster.
A few pro tips: log in early, save your payment info in advance and be ready in the Ticketmaster waiting room at least 30 minutes before the sale goes live. BTS ticket drops move fast, so sometimes “refresh” is the difference between nosebleeds and staying home.
Official ticket prices haven’t been released yet, but expect a range depending on seat location, plus premium options like VIP soundcheck packages for fans who want early entry and a closer look at the band before the show. Resale tickets will almost certainly pop up after the onsale, but if history is any guide, they won’t be cheap.
Bottom line: if BTS in Chicago is on your 2026 bucket list, January is your moment. Set your alarms, charge your phone and prepare your fastest thumbs. Soldier Field is about to become ARMY territory.
