Time Out says

Thriving since its move across the river to a spot in south Buda near the Danube, Dürer Kert remains one of the top live venues in town, particularly for alternative sounds. While bands such as Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Stoned Jesus and Hellripper play the main hall inside in winter, summer allows DK to spread outdoors for alfresco shows and festivals. Cycle- and dog-friendly, Dürer Kert is also family-centric, with picnic blankets and table-tennis bars available for loan or rent at the bar.

What’s on

Milo Korbenski

5 out of 5 stars
Masked mystery musician Milo Korbenski plays Budapest for the first time, bringing his lo-fi art-pop, raw indie and catchy melodies to the small hall of the Dürer Kert. A true auteur, Korbenski has recorded, designed and self-released a number of albums for Brighton-based label Phantom Limb. His most raucous release, When you Gonna Tell 'Em the Truth, Aaron?, will surely be given a run-out here, showcasing his catchy hooks, savvy wordplay and minimalist instrumentation. Listen out, too, for tunes from Korbenski’s most recent offering, Sex Angel, released in 2025, surreal, melancholic and intimate.
