BLESS Barcelona lands in the very heart of the Catalan capital, between Plaça de Catalunya and Passeig de Gràcia, with an offering based on excellence in service, gastronomy, and wellness, featuring experiences designed for both guests and locals alike.

The hotel also occupies a site rich in history. Over a hundred years of the city's life and story have passed through this Barcelona building: it was once home to La Pajarera café, one of the great meeting spots for artists, intellectuals, and locals in the late 19th century —formally known as Gran Café del Siglo XIX— and later, the iconic Hotel Colón. Now, BLESS Barcelona takes up part of that legacy to give it new life, looking to the future without losing sight of the past.

And the best part? You don’t have to stay at the hotel to discover it. At the top of the building, La Pajarera – Sky Lounge revives the name of the historic café and transforms it into a rooftop venue with a swimming pool and sweeping views over Barcelona. The experience changes throughout the day: breakfast by the pool, Mediterranean cuisine, charcoal-grilled dishes, sunset music and signature cocktails by Adriana Chía, one of the leading names on today’s cocktail scene.

For a sit-down meal, there is SINEDIE, the hotel’s main restaurant and wine bar, combining Mediterranean essence with Italian tradition through wines, aperitifs, seasonal produce, Italian cured meats and cheeses, and handmade pasta prepared fresh every day. Its name means “without a deadline, without a date, without a specific day” — a declaration of intent inviting guests to order a drink and forget about the clock for a while.

And those with a sweet tooth are in for a treat: Hofmann, the Barcelona brand that is part of a gastronomic sweet universe, has also found a home at the hotel. Located in the lobby, its artisan pastry and speciality coffee space offers everything from seasonal creations to its famous mascarpone-filled croissants (worth a visit for those alone!). Hofmann is also behind the desserts served across the hotel’s different gastronomic concepts.

More than a century later, La Pajarera is once again a place to eat, drink and meet in the very heart of Barcelona, now under the umbrella of BLESS Barcelona. With a rooftop, swimming pool, cocktails and Michelin-starred credentials, there are plenty of reasons to step inside. Ready to discover it? Here you can reserve.
