450 kilometres of Queensland's lush jungle mark the spot for the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. Among that vast expanse, you'll find Wallaman Falls: the highest permanent single-drop waterfall in Australia. That means this bad boy runs all year-round, and doesn't buy into any of this trickle business — a humongous stream of water gushes from the top of the cliff down below. You can access the phenomenon just a few paces from the Wallaman Falls carpark, do one of the hikes or spend a night at the campground.
