You can score discounted flights from $99 to 60 incredible Aussie cities and regional hotspots

Surprise! Qantas has officially launched its biggest sale of the year, slashing prices on 2 million domestic fares across 101 routes and 60 incredible destinations. Flights start at just $99 one-way, including routes in and out of the brand-new Western Sydney Airport. Best of all, travel dates stretch all the way through August 2027, giving you a full year to lock in your next long-weekend escape. No excuses!
Qantas’ massive Aussie sale kicked off this morning (August 18) and runs for just one week, ending on Tuesday, August 25 at 11.59pm AEST (unless sold out prior). Unlike typical flight sales, peak travel periods are included, meaning you can bag discounted seats over Christmas, New Year, the school holidays, Easter and Anzac Day. Howzat!
So, where can you jet off to? The cheapest fares start at $99 one-way for popular city-to-coastal escapes like Sydney to Ballina (Byron Bay) and the Gold Coast, alongside interstate trips like Melbourne to Adelaide and Launceston. You can even score $99 tickets from Brisbane or Melbourne to the brand-new Western Sydney Airport, ahead of the launch of its first passenger flight on October 25.
The Flying Kangaroo is also backing Aussies to explore more of their own backyard, with thousands of regional fares on sale too. From $99, you can fly between Adelaide and Kangaroo Island, Cairns and Townsville, Dubbo and Sydney, and Brisbane and Hervey Bay.
